BDF Newlife’s unique secure recycling service works with hundreds of businesses and organisations across the UK. They know that there is a better alternative to simply dumping or destroying unwanted stock. Our service benefits them, and in turn they know that they are helping to improve the lives of babies, children and families.
Our secure delabelling process means that goods, once donated, cannot be presented for fraudulent refund.
We handle goods that have become surplus for all sorts of reasons … customer returns, unseasonal stock, rejected orders, ends of line …
An endless variety too! Clothing, footwear, accessories, housewares, stationery, … you name it, we’ve probably recycled it.
Goods that are suitable for resale are sold to the Charity’s supporters through our Superstore. If resale is not possible, we look to recycle to get the best possible use from every single item.
Our optional Returns Management service gives you accurate data on your returns, providing invaluable reporting for your quality controllers and buyers.

- All goods are delabelled before proceeding further in the recycling process.
- Delabelling involves core quality controls which have been established and proven to prevent fraudulent returns and refund claims
- Information about donor companies’ operating procedures is securely recorded to ensure only executives of BDF Newlife have access
- All products which go for resale are inspected by trained personnel to ensure safety. We seek professional advice from trading standards and other departments.
We also offer a secure service to the trading standards industry, "Fakes Go Green", recycling seized counterfeit goods.
